It is possible to share a screener and its administrative rights with another company to avoid uploading the film twice.
After uploading the screener, the rights-holder will receive an email inviting them to validate the quality of the video. Once the rights-holder has successfully validated the screener, they can share the administration rights of their screener with a second company (producer, sales agent, etc.), on the condition that they are registered on Cinando.
That way, the screener will be added to the second company’s screeners list and they will be able to set their own viewing rights, as well as send invitations and get viewing reports.
Please note that you can only share admin of a valid screener, i.e. one that has been correctly validated.
Here’s how you can do it:
1. Go to your admin interface (aka MyData) by clicking on one of the options in the drop down menu under your name. Click on 'Screener Manager' (right below 'Screeners') to access your Screener Manager page.
2. Select the film for which you'd like to share admin rights by clicking on the edit pen icon. You will be redirected to the screener page.
3. Click on 'Edit' in the ‘Screener Administration’ tab located in the left column.
4. Select the company with which you want to share the screener - you will have to designate a staff member of the company as the contact manager of the screener. You can also assign them a role (Promotion, Festival, Consultant). Once you are done, make sure to click on ‘+ Add’.
After that, the film page and the screener will be automatically duplicated under the Cinando profile of the company you selected.
