How is your title displayed on Cinando?
All pages related to the same film or content, regardless of context (festivals, markets, line-ups) or the companies involved (Sales, Producer, Distribution, etc.), are consolidated under a single master content entry.
When navigating a film page, users can choose which company-related page they want to view.
On a public Films & Content page, users can find:
- A header section displaying the poster and cover image
- A drop-down menu allowing users to select which company-related page they wish to view
- A festival history banner and a market history banner
- All key metadata and information related to the title
- A media section including photos, videos, and screeners (if made available)
- A Company Credits section: this section lists all companies involved in the title, organized by their respective roles. When the information is available, users can see which company, in which role, released the title, on which date, under which rights, and in which territory.
How to add a title that is already on Cinando?
If a title already exists on Cinando, we recommend first searching for it in the database. This will help you save time and ensure the information matches when creating your film page.💡
In your My Company Data, select OUR TITLES in the left-hand menu and ADD.
-
Select the CONTENT TYPE, type the ENGLISH TITLE and then click on the DIRECTORS field:
Please pay attention not to type the name directly into the designated field.
-
In the new window that will open, type the director's LAST NAME in SEARCH IN THE DATABASE field and select the correct one from the list.
Please note that the correct entry should be FIRST NAME + LAST NAME.
The director will automatically be added in green in the DIRECTORS field:
In case of multiple directors, repeat the process.
-
Once you're done, click on SAVE and then NEXT.
The system will detect that the title already exists on Cinando:
- Click on your ROLE, then NEXT: your title is now part of your content listing!
If you are a distributor, make sure that your TERRITORIES and MEDIA fields are completed in your Basic Info section of your My Company Data, otherwise the process of creating title pages cannot be finalized:
Showcasing your titles for a specific market
If your company attends a market, you can feature the titles you present from your line-up in your public company page, as well as scheduled screenings.
These titles will display a three-letter colored tag.
- Go to My Company Data then select Markets
- Click on the pen icon to the right of the relevant market (the Market Environment must be open)
- Select the LINE UP tab to add contents, edit or delete your titles
-
Select the status of your title (Completed, Post-Production, Production, Pre-Production, or Development) and indicate whether it has a screening or will be included in the market video library:
Please note that this section may be managed by the Cinando team as well.
If any of your titles has a market screening, it will appear automatically in the 'SCREENINGS' tab. This section is managed by the Cinando team and cannot be edited directly. It recaps the confirmed screenings your company has at the market. If you find any errors, please contact us.
Check out Manage your Market page for more detailed guidelines and Screeners by Cinando if you need to upload a screener to your titles.
